Josh Moors Wins Kerry O’Keeffe Medal
Last Friday the Club celebrated the end of a very big season with it's annual Kerry O'Keeffe Medal night. Over the next week or so we'll be taking the time to acknowledge our award winners for the 2024-25 season.
Let's start with the big one.
With 795 runs at 53, and 40 wickets at 19.8, Josh Moors takes out the Kerry O'Keeffe Medal for Player of the Year. He was the most dominant player in 3rd Grade. He topped the batting and bowling for the whole competition. He reeled off his runs at the phenomenal strike rate of 149, constantly getting his team off to a cracking start and applying great pressure on his opposition bowlers. The highlight was his ridiculous QF against Manly, scoring 155 and taking 7/51, our highest score and best bowling figures of the season for the club.
Congrats Josh.
